The Case of the Gypsy Good-bye

By Nancy Springer
Rating: 4 stars

Springer wraps up her Enola Holmes series with this sixth entry.  Enola's alter ego is tapped for the mystery of finding Lady Blanchefleur del Campo when she goes missing in the London Underground, but she soon discovers her brother Sherlock is also on the case.  At the same time, Enola discovers her brother has a package from her missing mother, addressed to Enola.  Although Enola is willing to see Sherlock long enough to get the message from her mother, she still flees him for fear he and Mycroft will put her into a boarding school.  But as Enola works on the case, she discovers that perhaps she can trust her brothers after all, and not just with this mystery. A couple of other plot points are neatly wrapped up in this final book. Fans of the series will satisfied with Enola's journey, and be sad to see her go.
